PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
I've been a staff instructor for the Adirondack Photography Institute (API) for about fifteen years, leading nature and digital photography workshops and retreats. I also teach through the Cape Cod Art Center, and lead private workshops on my own. My programs cover the technical aspects of using digital cameras, and the artistry of nature photography, delving deep into the art of seeing and compositional techniques. I also teach the fine art of processing images in the digital darkroom, including digital workflow and image optimization in Lightroom and Photoshop CC. I'm a renowned specialist in night photography, and also teach panorama stitching, HDR imaging, focus stacking, and multiple exposure blending using layer and luminosity masking.
