There's a photographic element that can turn a good image into an extraordinary one. I refer to it as "moment", that time, however short or long, when something special occurs in a scene. It can be anything. First snowfall on a forest. Dew on a meadow caught in early morning light. Sunlight streaking through the clouds of a clearing storm. These events can elevate an image beyond the literal to one which has such a strong emotional appeal that it seems to get more powerful with time. These are what I seek. They provide me the greatest fulfillment.
