PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
I've been leading nature and digital photography workshops and retreats for more than eighteen years, on my own and as a staff instructor for the Adirondack Photography Institute (API). My programs cover the technical aspects of using digital cameras, and the artistry of nature photography, delving deep into the art of seeing and taking a contemplative approach to composing. I also teach the fine art of processing images in the digital darkroom, including digital workflow and image optimization in Lightroom and Photoshop, panorama stitching, HDR imaging, focus stacking, and multiple exposure blending using layer and luminosity masking. And I'm a renowned specialist in forest photography and night photography.
